Silvia Dierkes

After graduating with a degree in Communication Design from Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, Silvia Dierkes works as a freelance illustrator. Following several short comic projects (24-hour comics, a contribution to fumetto), "1974" is her first longer comic. In addition to drawing comics, she also works as a live artist, using portrait booths and for theater productions. She works in a small studio near the Duisburg harbor and lives with her boyfriend, her two children, and cats in a small apartment with a garden – she's incredibly happy.
