Krel

Krel is a Swiss author and artist active in comics and teaching. After two self-published titles (ROI and Le prix du pignon), he published La Révolution des Fourmis (Pépites Club, 2022), a silent philosophical tale about alienation and work. 

In 2025, Banana Split (Hélice Hélas) was published, a post-apocalyptic graphic novel combining humour and brutality, which questions the notion of truth and perspective through characters who are polar opposites. For this project, he received the City of Lausanne's Creative Grant in 2023 and benefited from a thematic exhibition at BDFIL 2024. 

A graduate of Ceruleum (2012), where he won the prize for his illustration/comic book section, Krel developed his research into the narrative forms of the 9th art, which he explored both through books and exhibition installations. 

He is a member of the committee of the Swiss Comics Artists Association (SCAA).
