Willi Blöss

At the end of the 1990s, Willi Blöss (author and illustrator) had the idea of launching a series of comic book portraits of famous artists, and he is still going on. He researches, writes and quickly became the sole illustrator of the series. Only at the beginning he produced six titles with graphic designer friends. Currently 48 titles are available. The 49th volume, about the painter Georgia O'Keeffe, is in the works. Blöss was attracted by the impossible: to regularly present sophisticated comic books. The result is an amazing German comic series.
