Dock 11 Saarland Comics

Saarland: Small, fine comics. Shortly after HBKsaar won the Max und Moritz Prize for the best student publication, the focus on comics was surprisingly discontinued. However, Dock 11 joined forces with lecturer Jonathan Kunz to ensure that comic activities continued in the small federal state. Since then, professional, semi-professional and amateur artists have been meeting monthly outside academia to support each other with their projects. This has resulted in a stable group that is sending shock waves throughout Germany.
