Julia Bernhard

Julia Bernhard lives and works as a freelance comic artist and illustrator in Berlin. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines, anthologies and exhibitions.
Her comic *Wie gut, dass wir darüber geredet haben* (2019) has won several awards, including the Max und Moritz Prize from the Erlangen Comic Salon for the best German comic debut! For the comic biography “Simone de Beauvoir: Ich möchte vom Leben alles” (2023), written by Julia Korbik and published by Rowohlt Verlag, the author and illustrator received the Prix Artémisia in the “Influence” category for the French edition.
