Tobias Aeschbacher was born in April 1989 in Switzerland. Tobi discovered his passion for drawing comics at an early age. He drew his first fanzines at the age of ten. During his training as a graphic designer, he deepened his graphic storytelling and met his friends with whom he founded the Hyperraum Kollektiv. With the Hyperraum Kollektiv he published the annual comic magazine "Kosmos vertikal" from 2012 to 2021. With a comic for the rapper Greis and a hidden object book about Biel/Bienne, the Kollektiv also publishes a variety of other projects. In 2017, after travelling the world, Tobi and two friends founded Hyperraum KLG, a studio for graphics and illustration, where he still works as a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and comic artist. Tobi also draws comics for various online blogs, newspapers, publishers, magazines, fanzines and comic anthologies. His first 128-page graphic novel "Der letzte löscht das Licht" was published in German and French by Helvetiq in February 2024.
