Lisa Neun was born in Vienna and has lived in Erlangen since 1988. She is actually a computer scientist, but has been drawing and loving comics since her youth. As one of the first webcomic artists in the German-speaking world, she has presented her autobiographical comics on her blog since the start of the millennium. She has now self-published three books ("Fresh Fish", "Schnitzelschlacht und Wunderbrötchen", "Kleine Welt"). In 2023 "Business Girl" was published at Schwarzer Turm. Her new work “Der Traum ist aus, Charly P.” is published by avant-verlag in 2026.

Lisa has contributed to various comic projects and collaborations, including JAZAM (comic anthology), Fuck Yeah (collaborative annual calendar), Sprühende Phantasie (comic fanzine) and many more. In 2019, she co-founded the Comicmuseum Erlangen e.V. association, which promotes the idea of a comic museum in Erlangen. As part of Comic in Bayern, she is committed to networking and raising the profile of the Bavarian comic scene.
