Denis Metz

Denis Metz, aka Herr Schnabulak, born in 1974 in Sauerland, is a graphic designer and cartoonist who lives with his wife and son on the beautiful North Sea island of Baltrum. Metz draws for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, taz, Eulenspiegel and Titanic and is the initiator of the Baltrum cartoon workshop "Inselwitz", which has taken place annually since 2010. He has already published numerous cartoon and satire books with Lappan-Verlag, most recently "Er lebe hoch - zum 100. Geburtstag von Loriot". Metz has received numerous prizes and awards, including the Audience Award at the 2013 German Cartoon Award.
