Noëlle Kröger
Noëlle Kröger (he/she), born in 1997, studied illustration at the University of Applied Sciences (HAW) in Hamburg. The stories they tell mostly revolve around gender, theater, and false dichotomies, and animals often play a role as well. In 2021, “Das Unbehagen des guten Menschen” (based on Bertolt Brecht) was honored with a GINCO Award, and “Meute” was among the finalists for the Berthold Leibinger Foundation’s Comic Book Award in 2024. Noëlle Kröger lives in Hamburg and is part of the organizing team for the Hamburg Comic Festival.
