Regina Kehn
Regina Kehn is one of Germany’s most renowned children’s book illustrators. She has illustrated books by numerous acclaimed authors, including Kirsten Boie, Michael Ende, Cornelia Funke, Philip Kerr, Jo Pestum, Ottfried Preußler, Sasa Stanišić, and Andreas Steinhöfel. The book she edited, "Literarische Kaleidoskop" (Fischer), was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize. In 2024, Regina Kehn was awarded the same prize for her illustrations and design work on "Wolf" by Sasa Stanišić and was selected by the Stiftung Buchkunst as one of the most beautiful German books. In 2022, she won the Austrian Children’s and Young Adult Book Award for her illustrations in Nils Mohl’s "An die, die wir nicht werden wollten". Her comic debut, "Einmal kurz nicht aufgepasst" was published by Kibitz and Regina will present it on Thursday, 4 Juna at 2 pm as part of the children's comic festival. Regina Kehn lives with her family in Hamburg.
