Since graduating in 2004 from the University of Arts Berlin, Jacob Hinrichs has been working as a freelance artist for almost 20 years. His work has been published internationally, amonst others by the New York Times, The Guardian, The Boston Globe Magazine, Die Zeit, FAZ, L’Express, Le Monde Diplomatique. His graphic novels "Traumnovelle" and "Hans Fallada – Der Trinker" have been translated into several languages. His book "Ick hau Dir uff’n Kopp bis de Läuse piepen. Berliner geflügelte Worte" is now available in its third edition from Favoritenpresse. In 2024, Jakob Hinrichs was awarded the Hans Meid Prize.
