Musician, Illustrator, Author … The Nuremberg artist Ray Hautmann was born in 1958 in Nuremberg and lives in the Gartenstadt district of the city. He is an established figure in the Franconian art and cultural scene and a master of subtle Franconian wit. In addition to his caricatures and drawings, he is also known to many music lovers as a passionate musician who, both regionally and beyond, has become one of the leading artists of dialect music. Alongside numerous exhibitions, including at Rosenthal in Selb, he created caricatures for the weekly magazine of the Nürnberger Nachrichten and the Nürnberger Zeitung.
