“Erlangen Noir” appeared in ten instalments in the Erlanger Nachrichten in 2021. Five short stories each by Björn Bischoff and Philip Krömer, with illustrations by Michael Jordan. The series offers a semi-fictional account of gaps in Erlangen’s post-war history. For the TONTO book “Noir – Deutsche Stadt, Aspekte” (2025), the texts by diceindustries, Vera Hagemann, dubois, Michael Jordan, Helmut Kaplan, Kai Pfeiffer, Lotte Schreiber, Johannes Schrettle, Edda Strobl and Thomas Wolkinger were reworked and arranged by Edda Strobl with Jordan’s drawings, based on a design concept by Helmut Kaplan. The exhibition features newspaper pages, original documents and the book.
