EMBE

Marcus Behrendt, also known as EMBE, lives and works in the vibrant city of Berlin. As a freelance illustrator, comic artist, and animation creator, he crafts imaginative pieces for print, web, and TV. In addition to his creative pursuits, he serves as the 1st chairman of the toonsUp e.V. association. In 2018, Marcus Behrendt collaborated with author Richard Fasten and radioeins (rbb) to publish the "radioeins Musikkalender." In the same year, he released "Hainer - der kleine Hai" (Universal Music), a musical radio play for children for which EMBE provided the distinctive appearance. Since 2021, the seasoned educator has been conducting the "superschnellen Kinder-Comic-Kurs," a super-fast children's comic course where he imparts the craft in a simple, child-friendly, and speedy manner. Additionally, he has been the in-house illustrator for the Sandmännchen (rbbmedia) for several years, creating and publishing comics, and occasionally working in television.
