André Breinbauer, born in Passau in 1973, studied graphic design at the Nuremberg Art Academy. Since 2005 he has been living in Vienna as a freelance illustrator and comic artist. Breinbauer's comics have been published in various magazines and anthologies such as "Echo des Wahnsinns" with H.P. Lovecraft adaptations. He created contributions for the MAK - Austrian Museum of Applied Arts - and the SLASH Film Festival, among others. To this day, the artist gives courses in comic drawing at the Zeichenfabrik Wien. Even as a child, the series "On the Road with Odysseus" awakened his fascination for Greek mythology, which has not let him go since. In his graphic novel debut "Medusa and Perseus" he addresses one of his favourite questions: Who is really a hero here and who is a monster?
