A picture is worth a thousand words and is the central communication medium in the B.A. Illustration programme. Here you will learn how to tell stories through drawing and convey messages through images. You will develop an understanding of the interplay between image and text and learn methods and techniques for research, conception and visual realisation. Based on the basic building blocks of storytelling, you will develop your own work in various areas of illustration – from graphic novels to animation.
