Denis Metz

Denis Metz, born in 1974 in Wipperfürth, draws cartoons for Titanic, Eulenspiegel, taz, Süddeutsche Zeitung, the Wadden Sea National Park and is the initiator of the annual cartoon festival "Inselwitz" on Baltrum. Metz has been awarded several prices. Numerous book publications with Lappan/Carlsen, including "Cartoons gegen Rechts" (2018) and "Er lebe hoch! – Loriot on the occasion of his 100th birthday" (2023). His most recent project is the ornithological cartoon: "Von Ohrenlerchen und Tubatölpeln" (Oekom Verlag, 2024).
