At the Picture Book Lab at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences young, talented artists and authors create picture books for children and adults. They focus on the idea of making books as unique visual narratives and believe in the close connection between concept, research, words and images. Here, students can focus on developing their personal style and individual narrative language. The Lab is based in Potsdam, very close to Berlin and is run by Professor Sven Völker, author and illustrator of "A Million Dots" and "The Museum of Shapes".
