Born in Modena in 1994, Irene Marchesini realised early on that, in addition to her great love of cartoons and comics, she also had a passion for writing. She then almost completely ignored this vital need until she attended the comics course at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Reggio Emilia, where she decided to devote herself to screenwriting. She then tried her hand at a career in comics with small local projects, but these were put on hold when her collaboration with Carlotta Dicataldo became solid and fruitful. In 2023, Rebis, the debut work of this creative team, was finally ready to see the light of day, published by BAO.
