Lukas Kummer was born in Innsbruck in 1988. In 2007 he moved to Kassel to study illustration and comics at the Kunsthochschule. From 2009 to 2015 he worked alongside his studies for the Mechanical Institute of the University of Kassel as an illustrator and designer. 2014 graduation and subsequent year as a master student with Hendrik Dorgathen. Lukas Kummer works freelance as an illustrator and comic artist. Publications in various magazines and fanzines. For Residenz Verlag, Kummer draws literary adaptations of Thomas Bernhard's autobiographical texts. "Die Ursache" was published in 2018, "Der Keller" in 2019. At Zwerchfell Verlag he published "Die Verwerfung" in 2015 and "Prinz Gigahertz" in 2020.
