Antje Hubold, born in 1978, was an architect and worked as such in Ireland before she began studying graphic design in Rostock in 2003, specialising in illustration. A freelancer since 2007, she is now a member of the Illustratoren Organisation and the Künstlerbund MV, the Mecklenburg illustrators' group POPPY Field and has been on the board of the Kunstverein Wiligrad e.V. since 2022, as well as being a mother of two. She has repeatedly taken part in the Comic Seminar Erlangen and in 2023 in the 24h-Comic session of the Literary Colloquium Berlin. Currently she is writing her first graphic novel.
