Melanie Garanin

Melanie Garanin studied animated film-making and illustrated children's and middle-grade/YA books for many years. In 2020, her first graphic novel, that deals with her son's death, "Nils. On Death and Anger. And on Courage" was published. In 2025 Carlsen published her highly acclaimed graphic novel on Rainer Maria Rilke.
