Max Fiedler, born in Düsseldorf in 1977, is an illustrator, animator and game designer. He has illustrated a number of highly acclaimed children's books, including "Das Supertalentier" (author: Christian Materath, Boje) and "Das knallt dem Frosch die Locken weg" (author: Mark Benecke, Oetinger). His comic picture book "Antonia war schon mal da" (author: Patrick Wirbeleit, Reprodukt) was awarded the Lesekompass by Stiftung Lesen in 2017 and his animal comic series "Herr Elefant und Frau Grau", written by Martin Baltscheit, is published by Kibitz. He is also a successful game designer: in 2018, his game "Card Thief" (development: Arnold Rauers), won the German Computer Game Award for the best mobile game.

Max Fiedler held a teaching position at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2012 and is part of the Studio Rabotti in Düsseldorf, where he lives with his family.
