Simon Eckert

Simon Eckert is a German artist based in Berlin. Growing up in the 1980s, the comic and box art of Masters of the Universe was one of his first artistic influences. With a background in graphic design, he decided to become a freelance illustrator in 2009 and has since worked on a wide variety of of projects in the gaming industry, from board games to traditional RPGs to computer games. He is currently working as a packaging artist for Mattel's Masterverse toy line. He also created two covers for the new editions of the classic Ehapa Masters of the Universe comics published by Retrofabrik.
