Marvin Clifford (*1983) is a freelance comic artist and illustrator from Berlin. He became known for designing and co-developing the webcomic series "Shakes & Fidget" and the browser game of the same name, which has amassed over 15 million players worldwide. Marvin received the prestigious German Max and Moritz Audience Award at the Comic Salon Erlangen in 2014 for his webcomic "Schisslaweng". From 2017 to 2023, he published numerous successful works, including "Spirou in Berlin" by Flix, for which he did the coloring work and is considered the best-selling comic album of 2018.
Together with Gronkh, Pandorya, PhunkRoyal and Liza Grimm, Marvin has been part of the live pen & paper event HORDE since 2021, which has become the most watched pen & paper event on Twitch. As a result, together with story writer and game master Liza Grimm, he has captured the events of the round table in two comic books to date. Horde - The First Age Volume 1 "Queste vor dem Feste" and Horde - The First Age Volume 2 "Was Helden tun für Heldentum" achieved Amazon bestseller status and, according to "Buchreport", Volume 1 was the best-selling comic in December 2022.
