Martin Baltscheit

Martin Baltscheit, born in 1965 in Düsseldorf, is an author, illustrator, narrator and director. His picture book "The Story of the Lion Who Couldn't Write" is a real success story. Martin Baltscheit is one of the most important German children's book authors and was awarded the Jugendliteraturpreis in 2011. Kibitz publishes his turbulent and philosophical comic series "Selma tauscht Sachen" (illustration: Anne Becker), the animal stories "Herr Elefant und Frau Grau" (illustration: Max Fiedler) as well as the comic picture book "Oma zu verkaufen (illustration: Thomas Wellmann).
