Aike Arndt, born in Neuss in 1980, lives in Berlin. He studied design with a major in illustration at Münster University of Applied Sciences, where he graduated in 2007. Since then he has been working as an freelance illustrator and animator. His animated film "Styx" was nominated for the German Short Film Award in 2008, its sequel "Atlas" won the SWR Audience Award at the Stuttgart Animated Film Festival in 2011.
