Blutch (* 1967 in Strasbourg) studied in Strasbourg and was discovered in 1988 through a drawing competition in a humor magazine. Since then, many of his works have been published and translated into German and other languages. He has won many prizes, including the prestigious Angoulême Prize, and is now the third French illustrator to present his interpretation of the comic legend Lucky Luke.
