Carlotta Dicataldo was born in Modena in 1994 and currently lives in Bologna. After studying at the Scuola Internazionale di Comics in Reggio Emilia, she made her debut as an illustrator and cartoonist in 2017. She then collaborated with Disney/Dark Horse, Dupui and Petit à petit in 2018, drawing the 33rd issue of Monster Allergy. Since 2021 she has been teaching comics and manga at the Scuola Romana dei Fumetti. Meanwhile, her artistic partnership with her friend and colleague Irene Marchesini took shape, with whom she published Rebis with BAO in 2023. In her spare time she collects art books and breeds beetles.
