Nino Bulling, *1986 in Berlin (DE), where he still lives today. Nino studied at the Kunsthochschule Halle and has been writing, drawing and translating comics ever since. After two longer stays in Algiers, their poetic travel report “Lichtpause” was published by Rotopol in 2017. In 2019, Nino Bulling’s book “Bruchlinien: Drei Episoden zum NSU“ was published by Spector Books. Bulling’s first fictional comic book “Firebugs“ was originally released in 2022 as part of their contribution to documenta fifteen in Kassel, alongside an exhibition and extensive public program revolving around trans and queer strategies in graphic publishing. Their most recent publication to date is the anthology “Cutes: Collected Queer and Trans Comics“, co-edited with Nour Hifaoui and Joseph Kai of Samandal collective.
