Born in 1981 in Euskirchen. Jan Blum made it out of the village and now lives in London. With the cartoon duo Schilling & Blum he has published several books with Lappan / Carlsen Verlag and was awarded the German Cartoon Prize in bronze in 2014. Under the pseudonym Jean La Fleur, he publishes cartoons and short comics in Titanic and TAZ and won the Austrian Cartoon Prize in 2019.
